JUST SOME UPDATES
So, essentially, I'm back at square one once again on my High School Heroes comic. Though this artist was very good, and did
an entire twelve page comic for one of my other stories, which will be appearing in IF-X before the end of the year, after the very
first page of the High School Heroes comic, he decided to abandon me. So, again, I'm on the lookout for an artist to do this
comic. Many might say to just give up on something like this, but I'm way too stubborn to do such a thing.
On the other hand, my next update should bring something else I've been talking about for months - my book trailer!!!!! I'm very
excited. I have seen the principle shooting and the fully editied versions, and it looks really good. There was one thing the
students forgot to do, so this weekend they are supposed to be fixing that up, so hopefully (keep your fingers crossed) the book
trailer should be up on my site (as well as other video sites) by the end of this coming week. So, go me!
This is really an accomplishment, because the young ladies that worked on this video are also supposedly entering it into a film
competition, which pretty much means it's going to be seen by a large group of my target audience. So, YAY AGAIN!!!
Sometime before the end of this month, I will also be announcing the release of my short story, Camp Hero, in the World's
Beyond Anthology. It is going to printing sometime within the next couple of weeks, and once it does, you'll be able to take a look
at it. The cover of the anthology is on my homepage, but if you scoll down here, you'll be able to see it as well.
Lastly, within the next month or so, I should actually be wrapping up the first draft of my sequel to High School Heroes. I know
what you're saying, the first book isn't even out yet, and he's already almost done with the sequel. Keep in mind though, it takes
nearly a year - or more - for a book do get out there in the public's hands, and it takes a good deal of time to edit and get a real
workable draft that I wouldn't be embarrassed to put into the hands of an editor. So, technically, I'm right on track for what I need
and want to be doing.
Anyway, as the title says, this entry is just to update you as to what is going on.
