Why I Write:

As I'm sure you will notice, the very first set of books on my
list is the New Jedi Order Series. When I was a kid, Star
Wars was my favorite thing to read about. To this day, the
entire saga remains my favorite movies.

Anyway, what inspired me to write was one of these books. I
can remember the momement I realized what I wanted to do
like it just happened. I had been suspended in high school
for saying something nasty to a teacher, and was sitting in
the "In School Suspension" room. I had with me a book
called the
Jedi Academy Trilogy by Kevin J. Anderson. While
reading this book, I said, "I need to do this. I need to write."
Now, I can't say why, it clicked in my head at that moment, but
I am sure it has to do with the quality of Mr. Anderson's
writing.

From then on, that's what I did. I wrote movies for my friends
and I to perform (mainly as school projects) which I became
infamous in high school for. I wrote poems and stories that
got featured in the paper. And when I started looking for
colleges, the only thing that interested me was whether or
not they had a good program for writing.

The rest, as they say, is history. I pretty much wrote whenever
I could, got some short stories published here and there.
Self-published a couple of books and finally got
High School
Heroes
published by L&L Dreamspell.

No matter what the results of my writing, I will keep doing it.
Mainly because I enjoy it so much. It's what I do, and it's who I
am.
